Takuma Miyai

Takuma Miyai (*2000) is a flutist, composer, and performer based in Bern, Switzerland. He has performed a wide range of repertoire from baroque to contemporary music, both as a soloist and as a member of various ensembles, such as Trio Kaléidoscope. In 2024, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in Classical Music at the Bern University of Arts, where he studied with Martin Fahlenbock. He is now pursuing his master’s degree in Music Pedagogy with Adam Walker and Anja Clift at the same school. Takuma also studied composition with Arturo Corrales in Geneva and Xavier Dayer in Bern. His creative projects often draw inspiration from environmental topics, blending acoustic instruments with live electronics, video, and lighting to create immersive performances.
